Image Monuments & Cemetery Services

Len and Ranell Reynolds have been the proud owners of Image Monuments, a family owned and operated business since 1995.

The Reynolds family established their first successful business, New Image Lawn Care, LTD in 1985. They have continued to provide lawn care services in the Sycamore area for nearly 30 years. Developing positive and lasting relationships within their community has been the driving force of their success.

In 1995, New Image Lawn Care, LTD began providing lawn care sevices at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. Len's well loved personality and his attention to detail afforded him the opportunity to manage Elmwood Cemetery in 1995.

When Len was hired as the cemetery manager, Elmwood Cemetery lacked a family owned monument supplier, so he and his wife set out to fill the void through the creation of Image Monuments. While Len diligently managed the cemetery, his wife Ranell devoted herself to the success of their new company. Ranell's sincere kindness and genuinely thoughtful nature made her a natural fit for such a unique and delicate position in sales. In 2006 Image Monuments opened a second office in Genoa, Illinois to accommodate the needs of their growing clientele.

Lenny, Len and Ranell's son naturally took to the labor intensive work of cemetery maintenance at an early age. After several years on the maintenance crew, he began installing and repairing headstones and foundations at Elmwood Cemetery. Lenny continued learning the various facets of his father's job and naturally transitioned to grave digging and general maintenence at the cemetery. Unfortunately, after three years Len Sr lost his battle with cancer. His passing in 2014 was a tremendous loss to both the family and the business, but his work ethics and keen business sense were not lost, they live on in the family and friends that he left behind.

Today, Ranell has taken on the roll of a Licensed Cemetery Manager. Their son Lenny continues in the family trade of digging graves, installing and repairing headstones, and meticulously maintaining the cemetery where his father resides.

Throughout the years, Image Monuments has evolved into the business that you have come to know and trust today. The Reynold's family dream, to form positive and lasting relationships within their community continues. They are thankful for the customers they have served and look forward building even more relationships within the community.
